Dear This Thing

I've only played 5-half dozen rounds with my new Garmin S60, but I totally dig it. I love having yardages in my wrist at all times, so I don't have to pull out my phone or scope every fourth dimension I demand a distance. It too syncs really squeamish and gives y'all a cracking visual overview of your circular on your smart telephone (Garmin Golf game app). I have 58 y/o eyes, so was a little curious how I would read it w/o readers, merely information technology's fine for me. Couple minor drawbacks: Plenty of juice for ane full round. Touch & continue that second round, though. I keep a battery brick in my bag, but in case. Also, you lot can zoom in a lilliputian and check yardage on that bunker or Creek, but it's a little clunky for that. Not a smoothe pinch in/out for zoom. All in all, definitely a good purchase. BTW, I think you tin go pretty much the same yardage functionality with Garmin's more basic models for a cheaper price, but I was happy to pay more for the upgrade to Arroyo S60.

Simple and functional

I've been using the Garmin S20 for the improve part of yr, a friend told me near the Garmin Golf app within the terminal couple months, I feel like an idiot for not having been using the app along with the watch the entire fourth dimension. Information technology does a swell job of journalizing your rounds, tracking stats and even calculating your handicap. I play iv times a week, and so I've developed a big sample size, the app allow'southward me know how far I hit each club, it tracks historical data where y'all can look up every shot y'all've played on a single hole over a period of time and it has greatly improved my class management and my overall scores. Great job keeping it unproblematic and user friendly, fifty-fifty old people should be able to figure it out!! Lol

It may work better if all clubs had the CT 10 accessories. Even so, I don't feel you should demand them to be able to go semi-accurate shot statistics. For case, I accidentally put that I hit a three wood off the tee. When I went in to expect at the round, I noticed that I hitting the 3 wood push. I updated that to my commuter, merely information technology still shows that drive as the average for my 3 wood. I hitting the ball nowhere nearly the boilerplate 3 wood totals in the app. I have several clubs like that at present, only Garmin uses your final 10 rounds, so it will be on at that place for awhile. No way to manually update information technology. I really wanted the aid of this functionality to tell me how far that I'grand hitting each club. It isn't valuable with all the skewed information. Since the CT 10's connect directly. They would probably aid with this, but I'm not ready to spend that kind of money until the app gets a chip improve tracking.
